There is no Vastu Pooja as such. Most people are confuse between Grah Shanti Pooja and Vastu Pooja. There are 45 devtas energy field in a house, and if any of these energy field get disturbed due to any undefined reason, we perform the Pooja or yagya related to that particular dev energy field, so that one can get the result related to that particular dev. 45 gods including Brahma at center, are basically energy fields, and energy fields dont understand pooja.

But when we have to get benefits from a particular dev, such as business growth, or opportunities, then we have to perform the yagya in particular direction of that dev.
Sometime some pandit also perform pitra dosh Pooja in the house, in name of vastu dosha or kundli dosha. In that case if our south west direction energy field or we can say particularly pitra energy field is disturbed then we can perform that Pooja for the results.
If five Elements are balanced in your house, you need not to perform any Vastu pooja. But if house is imbalanced, no Vastu will abstain giving adverse result in that space.
