Toilet side by mandir or in front of mandir?

Toilet and mandir are two different concept in Vastu. Mandir area should be in Ishaan kon that is north east direction, and toilet is restricted in this north east direction. You may have a toilet behind a Pooja room PROVIDED it does not fall in NE direction of the house. Pooja room is best in North east direction, because it is the head part of Vastu purush mandla & has such energy fields which relate to the mind, clarity, serenity extra of the human.

Toilet is considered for disposal as per vastu,  In many Vastu cases we have seen cancer or tumour occurs if toilet is in north east direction of the house. So, it has been suggested in the Shastra not to have a toilet near mandir if we considered only north east direction of house as per vastu. If a mandir is in NE & the toilet is behind it but is not falling in NE then it is fine & curable.

For Puja room, vastu recommends place which is fresh, clean and peaceful so that people can meditate and feel connected to god.
